I am here to bring Spirit into form through imaginative and creative works and to guide others in doing the same.

I have always thought of myself as an artist and educator. Both are ways to explore and express creativity in the world. As a child, I always made things and found a place of happiness and safety when creating. In my 20s, inspired by the births of my two sons, I taught myself many arts and crafts — smocking, bargello, embroidery, painting wall murals, crocheting, etc. When I discovered quilting, I felt that I had found my “home.” As I created original applique wallhangings and pieced-work festival robes I learned about playing with colour and design. I also organized and taught workshops for fibreartists.

In my 30s I consciously began my spiritual journey. With the death of three young friends, I began to ask some “big” questions: Who am I? Why am I here? I began to study with teachers in many spiritual and healing traditions. Creativity became a healing and transformational tool to explore consciousness. And I began to offer workshops for the soul’s journey. See www.inspiritworks.com/workshops

In my 40s, I made a deep commitment to my spiritual awakening. I spent over two years in Santa Fe, New Mexico and continued my sacred studies. I started to draw angels and my creativity turned to the making of books. I became intrigued by the process and the incredible devotion that it takes to develop a project ready for the marketplace. I self-published 3 books - Always Becoming – Forever! A Journal of Conscious Living/ Conscious Dying with Clare Buckland (Becoming Books, 1999) and How To Bring Angels To Earth and Angel Playtime (Wisechild Books, 1998). And I also helped over 40 authors self publish. See www.inspiritworks.com/books

In my late 40s I found my new creative home — the intuitive painting process that I now call Painting with Spirit! With my very first painting I knew I had found a process that I had been looking for. And now in my 50s, I continue to explore how this practice is taking me deeper and deeper into my relationship with mySelf and the Divine. I also love introducing others to this process and watching the wonder and joy that comes with expressing the soul through creativity.

“For me, Painting with Spirit! is my way to paint from the inside-out, to be directly connected with my soul and with the Source. My soul sings as I paint! I feel like I am dancing with divine energies, allowing them to move through my body and my hand. I love never knowing what will appear in the paint, and then seeing in multi-dimensions as I play with paint on paper. Painting with Spirit! is my favourite form of spiritual practice, a powerful way to allow the unconscious to become conscious, and to bring beauty to the world.”
